For all those who live in Shanghai, the two months in the spring of 2022 will never  be forgotten. We endured the harsh realities of the pandemic and strict lockdown measures, but after more than two months of continuous struggle, the arduous battle to defend Shanghai achieved significant milestones. From June 1st, Shanghai has entered the stage of comprehensive recovery, where normalcy returns to our daily lives and production. This is also a long-awaited moment for everyone.

       Greater Shanghai has returned, and so has Ling Shi headquarters! On June 1st, the first day of the resumption of work and production, 18 colleagues promptly returned to the Shanghai headquarters office. After returning to their workstations, their enthusiasm and dedication were palpable as they wholeheartedly threw themselves into their projects. The project team members have prepared for their return to the center and managed to catch up on the work delayed by the pandemic. They are now ready to deliver high-quality and efficient clinical trial results to the sponsors!

       The Shanghai outbreak was not a “pause” button, at least not for LINKS CRO. During the past two months of the pandemic, LINKS CRO has maintained a growing team and business volume, with a significant increase compared to the same period last year. The company has maintained its positive momentum in development. During the outbreak, the colleagues in the Shanghai office focused on self-improvement and organized 17 training sessions covering project execution SOP, medical knowledge, product knowledge, project training, and work experience sharing. After being tempered by the pandemic, the LINKS team has become more professional and confident. With such a hard-working, professional, and united team, LINKS CRO is bound to make great achievements!

       In terms of project execution, the projects of the Shanghai Regional were not suspended due to the pandemic. The team in Shanghai completed the institutional project establishment of 2 sites, submitted and attended ethics committee review for four, submitted two sets of protocol amendment, started the project of one site, enrolled three patients, provided support for research data recording during two surgeries, and followed up with 16 cases. The LINKS Team's dedication and hard work have been recognized and praised by the sponsor. In addition to steadily advancing the project management, LINKS CRO has also completed the start-up of five new projects during the pandemic. We have confidence, capability, and assurance to deliver high-quality results for each project entrusted to us by our sponsors.

       These days are unforgettable for us. The impact of the pandemic has brought unprecedented stillness to Shanghai, a bustling metropolis. Many people have encountered difficulties and inconveniences in their work and lives. We are proud that several colleagues from LINKS CRO volunteered to serve on the frontlines of epidemic prevention, contributing their strength to the fight against the pandemic.
