Year 2022 is of both joys and challenges for LINKS Shanghai headquarters. Despite facing challenges during the lockdown period in Shanghai, as the first medical device CRO company to receive investment from a renowned venture capital firm that year, we also tasted the sweetness of success.
As a member of China, the largest developing country benefiting from globalization, LINKS have received numerous collaboration invitations from well-known domestic and international companies. During the Hong Kong visit, he gained insights into the research achievements of various innovative companies, including the Center for Eye and Vision Research (CEVR) supported by InnoHK, which focuses on breakthrough research in five key areas —— Myopia and Eye Growth，Ocular Drug Discovery and Delivery，Vision Enhancement，Tear Film and Ocular Surface. Additionally, during the visit to Macau, Dr. Chen also had the opportunity to visit the Heart Centre of Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário, the largest public hospital in Macau, where he engaged in thorough discussions with Prof. MARIO EVORA, the Director of the Heart Center. Together, they explored cutting-edge technologies in the cardiovascular field and formulated plans for future cooperation. Professor MARIO EVORA expressed great excitement about the rapid development of innovative devices in mainland China.
