As one of the CROs to be invited to participate in the Tongji Medical Clinical Trial Quality Management Workshop on March 23, 2024, we are pleased to share the highlights of the workshop. The symposium brought together experts from 13 clinical trial sites and 18 companies, providing a platform for them to share their knowledge and experience in the field of clinical trials.

Xue-Ning Li from Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University shared the clinical trial site's valuable experience and insights in managing clinical trial projects. This session emphasized the importance of effective project management required for successful clinical trials. Through this unique perspective, we learned about the challenges clinical trial sites face in managing clinical trials and provided practical solutions based on real-world experience
Another highlight of the symposium was a fascinating discussion on trends in global clinical trials of innovative medical devices in the field of structural heart disease by Dr. Martin Chen , LINKS CRO
Mr. Martin Chen, founder and general manager of LINKS CRO, introduced the key points to note and the future development trend of conducting clinical trials for medical devices under the EU MDR. In particular, he emphasized the importance of medical device innovation and the indispensable role of clinical trials in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical devices.

The workshop was successfully concluded with the active participation of 13 clinical trial sites and 18 enterprises.
The workshop served as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, deepening our understanding of the complexities and compliance of conducting clinical trials. At the same time, it clarified the cooperation goals of the 13 participating clinical trial sites and demonstrated their determination to work together to promote and improve the clinical trial process. In addition, all the clinical trial sites participating in the workshop warmly welcome all interested sponsors to visit each clinical trial site to gain a deeper understanding of clinical trial practices and experiences, and to jointly explore and expand the mode of cooperation in clinical trial programs.
